Nursing:

Director of Nursing-Sue Criswell

The hospital provides 24 hour staffing with an RN and CNA, with additional RN support available 24 hours a day upon demand. Our RN’s are all ACLS (advanced cardiac life support) and Emergency Trauma Certified. Patient satisfaction surveys assist in providing a high standard of patient care.

Radiology:

Department Head-Linda Parsons

The radiology department offers both inpatient and outpatient general x-ray services between 9 Am and 5 PM with 24 hour on-call service. A new GE x-ray system was purchased in 2005 through the efforts of the people of the valley via pledges and fund raising, which necessitated a hospital-wide electrical upgrade. The new system was installed in 2006.  

Physical Therapy:

Department Head-Jamy Kraai

The physical therapy department provides both inpatient and outpatient general x-ray services, including therapeutic exercises, anodyne treatments, electrical stimulation, iontophoresis ultrasound, traction, and soft tissue mobilization. Rehabilitation is offered for post-op Treatment, post-trauma, and stroke rehab.

Laboratory:

Department Head-Dixie Schallenberger

The laboratory provides both inpatient and outpatient tests, with most done onsite and some sent to reference labs. Services include hematology and coagulation studies, blood chemistry studies, bacterial cultures, urine testing, blood banking, pregnancy tests, mono tests, influenza quick tests, and rapid strep tests. An annual blood screening event is offered at reduced rates as a service to the community.
