2008 Twin Bridges - Sheridan Rotary Scholarship Awards The following graduating students at Twin Bridges and Sheridan High Schools have been awarded Twin Bridges Rotary Scholarships in the amount 0f $700.00 . Two scholarships are awarded to graduating seniors from each high school annually. One scholarship is for students attending a Montana college in a four year curriculum. The other scholarship is for students attending a college of technology, two year curriculum in any state. Twin Bridges High School awardees: Morgan Marie Nordquist; will attend a Montana college and major in accounting with goal to become a Certified Public Accountant. Kerri Lynn Mulholland; plans to attend Montana State University at Great Falls College of Technology and study interior design Sheridan High School awardees: Ashley Marie Rowberry: plans to attend University of Montana, Montana Tech and major in business. Aaron Lowell Gilman: plans to attend either University of Montana Helena, College of Technology or North Idaho College in CoeurD’Alene and study communications.The Twin Bridges Rotary is very pleased to present these Scholarship Awards to these deserving graduates and thanks all applicants for their interest in our ongoing scholarship programs. The club is pleased that it was able to increase the four scholarship awards to $700. each this year.

This Scholarship is given through the generosity of the members of the Rotary Club of Twin Bridges, Montana. These awards are to be made to graduating seniors of Twin Bridges and Sheridan High Schools who will attend a post-secondary school within the State of Montana, or a Vo-Tech School anywhere within the United States upon enrollment in his or her second term and after completion of the first term curriculum with not less than a 2.0 overall grade point average during the year following the award.
Rotary Scholarship Committee plans to award four scholarships each year, two to Twin Bridges High School Graduates and two to Sheridan High School Graduates. One such scholarship for each school is intended for students planning to attend accredited Voc-Tech Schools, as above outlined. If no applicants are received for a Vo-Tech schools, then two awards will be given for Post-Secondary School applicants.
Scholarships will be awarded based on the individual merit of the applicant. In general, eligibility is judged against these criteria: 1. Academic achievement and standing; 2. Probability of success at post secondary or vo-tech study; 3. Service to school and or community; 3. Student financial need.
The scholarship committee will rank the applicants based on these criterion. Awards will be made based both on need and merit. Scholarships are awarded at Graduation each spring. Scholarships are paid to the institution at which you enroll. A letter of award will be provided to your family, you must convey that letter of award to the Registrar. Interested Applicants should complete the attached Rotary Scholarship Application Form and submit to the Rotary Club Scholarship Committee prior to May 15th.
