The 5th Annual Twin Bridges Father’s Day Fly-In is June 14th & 15th; sponsored by Ruby Valley Aviation, Greater Ruby Valley Chamber of Commerce and Madison County, promises to be an exciting fun filled weekend at the Twin Bridges Airport.

Special guest, Former Astronaut Frank Borman, who was the commander of Apollo 8 and led the first team of American astronauts to circle the moon, will be there Saturday and Sunday.  Colonel Borman is described as a hero of the American Space Odyssey and will be available all weekend to socialize, answer questions and sign autographs.

Every pilot that flies in will be gifted a limited edition print of SuSu III with Frank and Susan Borman.  SuSu III is Colonel Borman’s Siai Marchetti 1019 Italian war plane.  Additional copies of the print will be available to purchase so be sure to get an autograph while you are here.

NASA Aerospace Educational Specialists will also be at the fly-in.  They will make presentations throughout the day Saturday.  Be sure to stop by the booth for times to make and launch your own rocket.
