Project WET educators training

  Discover the Ruby Valley Watershed By Integrating Hands-On Water Education into the Curriculum Join other K-8 educators for a two session interdisciplinary workshop. This hands-on workshop is intended to increase your local watershed knowledge and help you connect the following science concepts across the curriculum: the water cycle, groundwater, plants and animals within water habitats, water ecology, water chemistry, and water conservation. The workshop is broken into two sessions to provide time to digest, explore and implement the curriculum into your classroom. Workshop focuses on local watershed      topics*  Designed for both Elementary &           Middle School Classrooms*   Six OPI credits available*   Interactive and Interdisciplinary Activities* $20 (includes materials)
